SyncService is a service of The Business Mechanic ("The Business Mechanic," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 14288 W. 129th Terrace, Olathe, KS 66062. SyncService respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information provided by automotive repair facilities and their customers.

Information We Collect

We may collect customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, vehicle information, repair order information, employee information, and communication records necessary to provide SyncService services.

How Information Is Used

Information is used solely to provide customer communications, workflow management, reporting, notifications, scheduling, and related automotive service operations.

SMS Communications

When customers provide a mobile telephone number and consent to receive text messages, SyncService may send appointment reminders, repair updates, authorization requests, estimate approvals, pickup notifications, and customer care communications.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile Information Protection

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent data, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except vendors that support the delivery of messaging services.

Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers to operate SyncService, including cloud hosting, SMS and email delivery, and payment processing providers. These providers are only given the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention & Security

We retain customer and communication information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SyncService services, meet legal or operational requirements, and support the repair facility's own recordkeeping. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Opt-Out Rights

Users may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. Users may request assistance by replying HELP.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
